The 8mm polyethylene rope feels surprisingly sturdy without being bulky, and clipping it into the belt system takes seconds. I walked my Lab around the yard for an hour with both hands free to carry tools, and it held up perfectly the whole time. Exactly what I needed for hands-free dog duty.
The loop at the end slides through the belt clip in one try, even with cold hands and a squirmy pup on the other leash. Clipping and unclipping the carabiner took some getting used to, but once I got the feel, it's been a solid way to keep my dog tethered while I'm hauling gear.
The rope’s a bit stiff out of the bag, but it gripped my dog’s collar securely once clipped to the belt, and the 8mm thickness feels tough enough for daily walks. Works fine for hands-free tying-off when I need both arms for gear.
