The 8mm polyethylene rope is noticeably sturdier than the old line I was running, and it holds its shape well under tension. Picked it in a bright color so I can spot it easily from a distance, and the 14.75" length worked perfectly for my middle section.
The brass snaps fit perfectly into my setup, and that 8mm rope hasn't frayed a bit after a month of hard pulls. I grabbed the teal color, and it's held its shade through rain and sun without fading.
The rope on this is a solid 8mm, thick enough that I don't worry about it snapping mid-run. I swapped out a worn section in about five minutes using the brass snaps, and the color matches my setup perfectly.
