Our Toggle, aka Eskimo Hook, is a high-tech version of the traditional Inuit-based approach to hook tuglines to harnesses. It serves as an alternative to bronze or brass snaps.

Our Toggles are 4-inches wide and hand-cut from high-quality, UV-stabilized, weather-resistant, Marine-grade, black HDPE plastic. All edges and corners are rounded to minimize wear on tuglines. Toggles are designed for use with 8mm polyethylene tight-weave rope.

The Toggle must be fidded to a shorter tugline and will connect to an 18-inch harness extender line. Our Toggle can be purchased separately or in a configuration that is ready to use in the Tugline Toggle, Tug & Harness Line Combo.

First trip out with it and the toggle held firm through some serious pulling, no slip at all. The high-tech build feels way more solid than the old bronze snaps I used to fight with, and it clips in fast even with gloves on.

The toggle's lever action is way smoother than any bronze snap I've dealt with, and it clicks into place with a satisfying solidity that makes me trust it completely on the trail. Took a few seconds to get the hang of the Eskimo-style release, but now it's become my favorite piece of gear for quick

Swapped out the old brass snaps on my tuglines for these toggles and the difference is immediate—lighter, quieter, and no more cold metal biting my fingers in winter. The high-tech take on the traditional Inuit design feels solid, and they lock in place exactly like they should.
