Velcro and heavy snap make emergency release of skijor line easy without a heavy metal quick release trailing behind your dog.
Specifically designed for use with Skijor Lines only. Not intended for use with Sled, Cart, ATV, Bike, Scooter etc.
Didn’t know what to expect with a Velcro-based release, but the heavy snap is reassuringly sturdy and the whole thing sits so light on my dog that he forgets it’s there. Emergency release is effortless with one hand, even mid-stride.
My last run had a few tangles and this snap released instantly every time, so no more wrestling with frozen buckles. The velcro wrap keeps the whole thing snug against the harness, and I appreciate that there's no heavy metal clanking around my dog's back.
Took this out on a snowy trail this morning, and the velcro releases so smoothly with just a firm yank that I didn’t have to fumble with cold fingers at all. The heavy snap clicks in securely but stays completely out of the way on my dog’s back, no dangling metal clanking around. Exactly what I need
