Our unique 18" x 36" Sled Bags are designed, cut & sewn by none other than Becky Loveless, who along with her husband Joe, founded Alpine Outfitters in 1988. We are so pleased that Becky is working with Alpine Outfitters again, playing a key role in new product development, as well as lending her many years of mushing and product design expertise to the construction of each Sled Bag. The standard size Sled Bag dimensions are 18" x 36" with a 12" toe that adds the necessary room to carry a dog. 

Standard Half Basket Sled Bag features:

  • 18" x 36"
  • Strong and durable 1000 denier Cordura
  • Heavy duty zippers
  • Reflective bands
  • Inside dog tie down D-ring
  • Pocket on the inside at the rear (not included if Vent is added)
  • 12" raised/collapsible toe
  • Venting as optional add-on
  • Your choice of Black, Blue, Red, Green, or Orange Cordura

    Optional Vent Add-on:

    • Covered rear vent - 12x12 inches - exceeds minimum requirement
    • Heavy poly mesh
    • Removeable cover

      PLEASE NOTE: Be aware that a sled without a bottom will not hold gear or a dog well and will need reinforcement such as a camping pad at the bottom for further support.
