The braided rope cover gives it a much classier look than bare cable, and those Italian bronze snaps feel heavy and solid in hand. I've put it through daily use on the boat for two weeks now with zero signs of fraying or rust.
The thimbles at the ends make a real difference—no more fraying where the line rubs against hardware. I hung these for a boat lift and the 3/16 inch cable feels tough without being a pain to handle.
The Italian Bronze snaps feel solid and premium, and the galvanized thimbles are a smart touch that should keep the cable from fraying at the ends. Only gripe is the rope cover adds a bit more bulk than I pictured, but it’s still easy to work with and looks clean once installed.
