Kit FID in alluminio. Set di 5 misure. Confezionato in una pratica custodia Cordura personalizzata.
Utilizzato per realizzare ("FID") e riparare prodotti in corda.
Used it for the first time to mend a frayed rope loop on a campsite tarp, and the hollow fid made threading the cord back through effortless. The whole kit stays organized in its pouch, so it's easy to grab right when I need it. Felt like a proper ropeworks pro for about five minutes after.
The tapers and hollow fid are exactly what I needed for splicing and repairing rope, and everything sits snug in the roll so nothing gets lost. Works as described for mending and making rope products, and I’ve already used it on three separate projects this week.
Fiddling with frayed ends used to drive me crazy, but this kit’s tools make splicing and mending rope feel almost meditative. Everything sits neatly in the case, and the included picks are just the right size for tightening up stubborn knots.
