16 Tails - Laura Daugerau's Rookie Iditarod
Tarinoita kertoo upea tarinankertoja ja valjakkokoirien ajaja Laura Daugereau. Ensimmäisenä Washingtonin osavaltion naisena Iditarodin suorittaneena Lauralla on lukemattomia uskomattomia tarinoita poluista ja villieläimistä valjakkokoirien kanssa.
Ihana CD-levy, jota haluat kuunnella yhä uudelleen ja uudelleen.
I popped this CD in during a long drive, and Laura’s voice made the miles fly by. Her rookie Iditarod stories feel so raw and real, especially the details about being the first woman from Washington State to finish.
I’m not usually an audio book person, but Laura’s warmth as a storyteller pulled me right into her rookie Iditarod run—her first-woman-from-Washington detail made it feel personal. The CD’s pacing is perfect for listening in chunks, and I found myself re-playing tracks to catch the dog-team moments
Listened to this during a long drive and almost missed my exit because Laura’s storytelling pulls you right onto the trail. Her rookie Iditarod perspective feels raw and real, especially the details about the dogs and the cold. Definitely a gem for anyone curious about mushing.
